Wayne Dalton Model 8024 and 8124 doors are affordable entry-level steel doors with a polyester finish.
How It's Made
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
Materials & Finish
8024 consists of 1, 24 gauge steel layer. 8124 consists of two layers, steel + insulation. Embossed, 24-gauge steel panels give the look of wood with the strength of steel. Two-coat, baked-on polyester finish is virtually maintenance-free. This finish also makes an excellent base if you repaint to match the existing exterior color of your home. Heavy-gauge steel wrap-around end caps trim-out door edges for better appearance and improved strength. SilentGlide™ rollers with nylon tires and solid steel shafts provide years of smooth, quiet, dependable service (not available in all sizes)
Insulation
Model 8204 does not offer polystyrene insulation but the 8124 Model does. R-Value ranges from NA – 3.7.
*Wayne Dalton uses a calculated door section R-value for our insulated doors. R-Value = 10 at 8′ high. R-Value may differ slightly for other heights.
Warranty
Models 8024/8124 offer a 10-Year limited warranty against cracking or splitting due to rust-through. See dealer for complete warranty details.
