Featured Review: Beautiful Doors – Highly Recommend. I cannot say too much about these doors. I am 110% satisfied with the installation, operation, appearance and performance of these doors. The doors that were installed when our house was built in 1999 were non-insulated single sided aluminum. The new insulated doors are far superior to the aluminum in performance as well as appearance. The insulated doors have a more natural wood appearance. The new doors open and close at a much lower noise level. Do not have the hollow rattle of the aluminum doors. The most impressive feature of the new doors is the performance of the insulation. Our garage temperature is substantially warmer than it was with the aluminum doors. It would have been interesting to have measured the temperature before the doors had been installed. However, I could almost instantly feel the garage warming up after the installation which happened to be on an unusually cold day in November. The aluminum doors would conduct the outside temperature into the garage. They were extremely cold to the touch — the metal had the same temperature on the inside as well as the outside. The insulated doors of course do not conduct the outside temperature into the garage. I fully expect to see a significant drop in my heating and cooling costs over the next 12 months.
Featured review 2: Beautiful upgrade to our home. The new Carriage Cout door is a beautiful upgrade to the front of our home. We have a two car garage and opted for the 3-lite windows. The windows bring in so much light that I don’t often need to turn on any lighting in the garage. The door itself provides much more insulation than our previous wooden roll up door. And with the rubber gaskets around the edges it also doesn’t let leaves and other debris in as well. The door is well built with a solid finish and should withstand all the weather and day to day abuse. I’m VERY happy with this decision.

Featured Review: Great looking door. I recently had my door installed with the Thames Windows and it looks great. My house was out of balance and this door has added a lot of visual appear across the front of the home. I think it was a great value for the money and my neighbors love it. If you purchase this door, I would recommend at least the 2000 series which gives it a solid sound when opening and closing as opposed to the commercial garage door sound most single layer doors give.
Featured Review 2: Classica look great! I mostly have very positive comments, but I will start with the criticisms. There were no installation instructions included. The installation instructions I received through the online chat support were wrong. The only thing I needed to know was where to locate the roller brackets. The hole number locations are listed incorrectly. I finally found a video that provided the correct location, but that did not use hole numbers at all. The Amarr hinge is unique and concerns me that they will have long term problems. The point that will wear out over time is in the door panel itself and is not replaceable. Good thing there is a lifetime warranty. The door looks great! I like the look of the three panels and location of the window. The window size is large since the door only has three panels. Height of the window on my 8 foot tall doors will not let someone of average height look into the garage. The construction of the door seems good. The cast aluminum decorative hardware is high quality. The door panels are well built. The smooth interior with color matched side panels are a nice touch. There was a little excess glue or insulation visible on the inside, but it was a small amount. The insulation and three layer construction helped dampen the sound when operating the door. The window trims kit fit securely. It would be nice if custom two tone colors were offered, I plan to paint the recessed panel to match my house. The three layer construction seems very strong and rigid which should help resist hurricane wind load and other damage. I was cautioned that the three panel 8 foot tall door may not be smooth when operating. Once everything was adjusted the operation is fairly smooth. I do not see a problem with the three panel concept from a durability standpoint. I also found the Amarr website to have a lot of information and easy to use. Customer support was responsive even though they did not actually answer my questions. Overall very pleased with Classica.

Featured Review: Great Upgrade, Enhances Our Property. Recently our well used 20 year old garage door became warped. After contacting a local dealer, who were recommended by neighbors, we found out the door could not be repaired. We found at our dealer’s website a great number of choices to upgrade our garage door. The Amarr designer series with the Blue Ridge hardware was our choice. The installation was performed yesterday by two of the most efficient and congenial technicians I’ve ever encountered with installation beautiful results. We are so happy with the Amarr door it is a focal point of our house and really enhances our property. We’ve had Amarr doors in the past so we know they are of the highest quality and look forward to many years of service.
Featured Review 2: Pretty and quiet. I went from a builder mid grade door to Amarr’s Designer Choice 3200 long panel with Moonlight windows. I also chose the walnut color to mimic a wood look but this one will last much longer. I added the hardware too. This is so pretty and the day after it was installed we had someone asking where we got it. What an improvement! This unit is exceptionally quiet with the smoothest operation. The insulated glaze keeps the outside air out and I love the light the windows bring in without worrying about my privacy. Top Notch installed the doors no they were professional from start to end. A very good experience.

Featured Review: High quality door at a reasonable price! We installed this door in 2012 and have been impressed by the quality of the door & looks great 3 years later (like new). The price was very competitive too! We just painted the house and garage door and it took the paint well all looks good! When you install it I would recommend that you check the seal that they install at the bottom of the garage door as I did not notice but it was deformed and while it is still providing a positive seal there was crease along the edge along some of the seal that I’m sure eventually it will cause premature failure. I had some service done and the installer basically said I have to pay for a new seal at this point if I wanted to change it out. Recently and unfortunately our left spring just broke and we filed a warranty claim to hopefully have the quoted $115 installation charge covered. The warranty pdf for the H-3000 was not clear whether the lifetime warranty covers parts as and labor or if they will replace both springs as their fans suggest.
Featured Review 2: Love our new door! Have fought with a 16′ X 8′ wood door for 29 years ~ broken springs and burned up door openers… The Amarr Heritage door we had installed opens effortlessly, has windows that allow light in and insulation to help the garage in winter as the door faces north. Why did we wait so long?!? Are really enjoying it and the upgraded appearance of our home!

Featured Review: Although my house was only 4 yrs old I was very unhappy with the builder supplied garage door and opener. When I was ready I shopped various products lines and decided on the Hillcrest 3000 model. This door is HEAVY, looks solid and feels, nice finish, and is QUIET. So far I am very impressed with the door.
Featured Review 2: So Happy, both in looks and in function. Amarr contacted me directly a few days after placing my order to review the door options and configuration. The doors took about a month to come in, I installed them myself. I’m very happy with the doors. They look very nice, seem to be of great quality, and the perform very well. I’m especially glad I opted for the torsion spring versus the extension springs (like my previous door had). I’ve never installed garage doors before or had any experience with the torsion spring design. The spring winder worked well with the drill and made winding the spring simple! Best of all, the torsion spring design will always keep the left and right side of the door equal (level) once set, so i won’t have to keep adjusting this later like I did with the old extension spring type doors.
